The footprints of my precious Lord,
But mine were not along the shore.
But then some stranger prints appeared,
And I asked the Lord, "What have we here?"
Those prints are large and round and neat,
"But Lord, they are too big for human feet."
"My child," He said in somber tones,
"For miles I carried you alone.
I challenged you to walk in faith,
But you refused and made me wait."
"You disobeyed, you would not grow,
The walk of faith, you would not know,
So I got tired, I got fed up,
And there I dropped you on your butt."
"Because in life, there comes a time,
When one must fight, and one must climb,
When one must rise and take a stand,
Or leave their buttprints in the sand.
I think John might use the video version this Sunday. Check it out at sermonspice. Click on the video that says's footprints revisited . Thanks for showing me this site Hopiq:)

That is a great revisiting! Love it.
Oh, I'm loving that one. I've been dropped on my behind a time or two - so glad now, but those are awfully ugly buttprints!
haha! I took it to ladies' Bible study and shared it with a couple gals. Oh, and I can just hear Earl saying that middle aged thing!!! Totally meaning it as a compliment, but not quite making it! :)
Ha Ha, I did take it as a complement. It just startled me to to think that I am middle aged. But he is absolutely right. I am. I've just never thought about it before.
