John called and told a little bit more about what they have been doing. The house they worked on yesterday was owned by a 84 year old woman. Nothing had been touched in her home since the flood waters swept through it. Her children had called and asked if someone could help with the home. They also asked if the could retrieve couple of wedding bands that had belonged to the woman and her husband. They found them right away and were able to meet the children and give them back their parent wedding rings. They took everything else out including the freezer which still had food in it. They should finish this home tomorrow. John also said that Beth was able to spend quite a bit of time with a ten year old girl that is living in a FEMA trailer with her grandmother. the little girl just needed to talk. Pray for our brothers and sisters in the team that they will be able to share compassion and the love of Christ with those who have lost so much,
