The last republican caucus I went to had about 12 people. I was totally shocked when we met in a school gym tonight and and counted well over 550 people!!!! We the people spoke up tonight. My precinct had the most votes for Huckabee.
We had a fun time at our caucus, too. Gary and Regan are in the same precinct, so we sat together. We probably had 100-150 people at our meeting, but then there were dozens of meetings all over Ames. If each neighborhood had that much turnout, that's tremendous!

I've never seen so many people interested in the caucus before. It was rather amazing!
